Dude, are you saying that it’s humanly impossible to like “Frankie Teardrop” or that too many people like it? Because between you and me, I believe the former, but am willing to sit through anything short of Brown Sound if it means punishing others.

Maybe I’m hanging out with the wrong right crowd, but nobody I know can sit through “Frankie Teardrop” and enjoy it besides me; to qualify that, though, I would also rock out to the Brown Sound if I found something to like about it, and there are quite a few bars where I could see it put to good use.

BREAKING: I just realized that I have no idea if we’re talking about Eddie Van Halen’s Brown Sound or the infamous Brown Note, but was assuming it was the Note, in which case, I stick to my convictions. If it’s not, I don’t doubt that Van Halen can, in certain situations, yield the same mythical results of the Brown Note.

UPDATE: Marshall Stack is duly noted, if only for its wankery-inspired name.
